Select Adobe PDF conversion settings
Predefined Adobe PDF settings provide a starting point for creating Adobe PDF files for a variety of publishing needs. These settings are designed to balance file size with quality, depending on how the PDF file is to be used:
ΓÇóHigh Quality creates PDF files for high-quality output.
ΓÇóPress Quality creates PDF files for high-resolution print production, for example, on an imagesetter or platesetter. These settings require font embedding.
ΓÇóSmallest File Size creates PDF files for displaying on the Web or an intranet, or for distribution through an email system for on-screen viewing. No fonts are embedded.
ΓÇóStandard creates PDF files to be printed on desktop printers or digital copiers, published on CDs, or sent to clients as a publishing proof.
If your high-resolution print job requires specific output settings, you can edit the settings.
